Abstract: Abstract Industrial zones play an important role in economic development bringing job creation, training, technology, investment, exports, connectivity, employment, and infrastructure to the host country. Part III examines the benefits of industrial and economic zones in Cuba. In this conversation, I spoke with Huong NguyenNguyen, Huong, ViMariel S.A.ViMariel S.A.’s Business Manager. We discussed progress, achievements and challenges during the pandemic, infrastructure development, policies, support for investors, among other topics. ViMariel S.A. is a Vietnamese company whose parent company, Viglacera Corporation, is a leading industrial park developer, having built 11 industrial parks throughout Vietnam. In Cuba, ViMariel is the first concessionaire established in the Mariel Special Development Zone.
