Abstract: Abstract Chapter 19 comprises an interview with Spanish attorney Hermenegildo AltozanoAltozano, Hermenegildo, one of the world’s leading experts on foreign investment on the Island. We discussed his long experience with Cuba, aspects of Helms-Burton, reasons for dismissal of some of those cases, the complexity of the due diligence process in terms of its regulations, foreign investment, recent economic reforms, and the impact of COVID-19 on foreign investment.
