Chapter Chapter 1 in Diversity of Migrant Entrepreneurship in Varieties of European Capitalism, 2023, pp 3-30 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter investigates the relationship between immigrant entrepreneurship and the concept of Varieties of Capitalism in comparative political economy. It highlights the importance of combining these areas of study, particularly for scholars and policymakers dealing with migration issues. The chapter delves into the theory that the market economy and immigrant integration are intertwined and interrelated. The research proposes that the degree of immigrant integration is tightly tied to the form of market economy in place.
