Abstract: Abstract This chapter examines the similarities and differences in post-Soviet immigrant entrepreneurship by analyzing the economic models, immigration regimes, size, and nature of post-Soviet immigrant communities and the forms of their entrepreneurship. The results show that the economic models and immigration regimes of different countries are interdependent and determine the diverse types of post-Soviet immigrant entrepreneurship. By comparing the immigration regimes in Austria, Spain, and Hungary, the chapter reveals that the regime in Hungary is a new subtype of the broader EU immigration regime and is integrated with Hungary’s market economy model, referred to as the Extra-Union-Plus immigration regime.
