Abstract: Abstract We solve the iterative differential equation − γ g ′ = g − 1 $$-\gamma g' = g^{-1}$$ for g : [ 0 , 1 ] → [ 0 , 1 ] $$g\colon [0,1]\to [0,1]$$ and for one particular parameter γ = κ ≈ 0.27887706137 $$\gamma =\kappa \approx 0.27887706137$$ and show that it has no solution for larger parameters, nor for positive parameters γ
