A chapter in Cross-Driven Institutional Resilience, 2023, pp 1-8 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This book volume aims to share knowledge on institutional resilience and prompt reaction to crisis. It does so by educating its readers on optimal ways to build institutional resilience through collaboration of both public and private actors in society. The book brings this to readers through multiple studies at the national and pan-European level. The quest for good governance and institutional resilience is no longer a prerequisite of some countries, but of all, and as such, the more inclusive and international this book strives to be. The making of it initiates from a partnership of five universities that individually and jointly provide this book with a uniquely diverse perspective on the institutional context. With new and old EU member states, as well Nordic and Southern European countries, the partnership bridges different national experiences, and delivers common solutions to contemporary common problems. The book volume consists of individual chapters that provide a broad understanding of challenges of the international business environment that should appeal to international readership. The partnership consists of University of Iceland (Iceland), Bucharest University of Economic Studies (Romania), University of Zagreb (Croatia), Vilnius University (Lithuania) and the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain).
