Chapter Chapter 15 in Multimodal Affective Computing, 2023, pp 173-208 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter focuses on experiments applied to personality recognition models. It begins with a description of the experimental setup and evaluation protocols, highlighting the differences between each model and modality. The chapter then explores the concept of models as a service, including model banks, service managing, query sorting, and the challenges and techniques for their implementation. Finally, the chapter discusses the application of personality recognition in education, specifically how intelligent tutoring agents can use personality for affect-driven learning. The chapter presents alternative implementations of personality recognition models in education, such as vocational guidance. Overall, the aim of this chapter is to provide readers with a deeper understanding of the comparison between laboratory and real-life applications of personality recognition models and the potential for models as a service technology to be used in education.
