Abstract:
Abstract This chapter focuses on data representation techniques and fusion methods for datasets from different sources in the context of multimodal emotion and sentiment recognition. It discusses various fusing techniques, modalities for representing data for machine and deep learning algorithms, as well as the basics of text as image representation and embeddings as data representation. Its ultimate goal is to provide readers with a comprehensive understanding of how to fuse different types of data for effective multimodal emotion and sentiment recognition.
