Chapter 12 in Leadership and Organisational Effectiveness Post-COVID-19, 2023, pp 211-218 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The chapter summarised the findings in the rest of the book to identify variables used in developing the leadership model for the next normal. The developed model is expected to drive positive relationships in the organisation needed to ensure superior and sustainable organisational productivity. The model developed contained the hidden/internal/unobservable variables which are the foundation of leadership behaviour. The growth/external mindset, which is the outcome of understanding leadership as a means of service, is the only mindset that can develop positive leadership behaviours needed to create a positive climate and work experience for employees. In such a climate, employees are engaged and give their best to the organisation. The chapter recommended future research works needed to lay the foundation for the testing of the model.
