Abstract: Abstract We find that for 500 hundred years, income and wealth has been coercively diverted from Africa to the benefit of Europe and the United States. This occurred using enslavement and exploitative arrangements—unequal exchangeUnequal exchange, and coerced, imposed dependency in trade and investment, and forms of monopolyMonopoly, and discrimination, in labor and capital markets.
