Chapter Chapter 6 in Blockchain in the Global South, 2023, pp 139-165 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this final chapter, we integrate the ideas discussed in earlier chapters regarding blockchain’s potential to bring economic, political, and social transformations in the Global South. We consider the potentially transformative impacts of blockchain in diverse industries and markets in the Global South. The chapter also analyzes the barriers and challenges in implementing blockchain projects in the Global South. Finally, it looks into the future of blockchain in the Global South.
