Chapter Chapter 27 in Integral Methods in Science and Engineering, 2023, pp 335-345 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The present work intends to carry out a study of the one-dimensional mathematical model of the transport of contaminants in a sanitary landfill. For this, the dimensionless form of the contaminant dispersion model in a porous medium will be considered, with the hypothesis of continuous and uniform leakage of pollutant from a storage cell of urban solid waste. Simulations for a selection of parameters are shown.
