Use of Variants of Seismic Signal Approximations by Proposed Sets of Functions for Statistical Structural Analysis

E. S. Brikov and V. I. Dobrorodnyi

Chapter Chapter 6 in Integral Methods in Science and Engineering, 2023, pp 79-86 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Variants for use of numerical smoothing of seismic signals and their approximations (fitting), which use sets of functions: displaced Gaussian functions that are averaged in 3- and 2-dimensional spaces for the purpose of finding models in their statistical structure, are discussed. An attempt to justify the proposed approach was made.
