A chapter in The ABC's of Science, Technology & Innovation (STI) Policy, 2023, pp 87-92 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The innovation process requires new knowledge in the state of discovery or invention be described in terms of what it does rather than what it is, in order to convey its potential value to those who must choose to assume the cost and risk of transforming that knowledge into subsequent knowledge states. Effective communication is especially critical when conveying information from scholars/entrepreneurs to industrial corporations.
