Chapter Chapter 6 in Twenty Interviews With Psychometric Society Presidents, 2023, pp 63-77 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Bengt Muthén, emeritus professor at UCLA Graduate School of Education & Information Studies, was president of the Psychometric Society in 1988. Muthén finished his Ph.D. under supervision of Karl Jöreskog in 1977 at Uppsala University. His research interests are latent variable modeling, time series analysis, and analysis of categorical data, among others. He is the co-designer of Mplus and is now fully dedicated to its further development.
