Abstract: Abstract Paul Holland started working for the Educational Testing Service in 1975 and retired from ETS in 2006. Between 1993 and 2000, he was professor of education and statistics at UC Berkeley. Holland was president of the Psychometric Society in 1989. Holland finished his Ph.D. under the supervision of Patrick Suppes in 1966 at Stanford University. His research interests are discrete multivariate analysis, test equating, social networks, and causality, among others.
