Chapter Chapter 4 in Using R for Trade Policy Analysis, 2023, pp 129-144 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter replicates in R the best practices to build the database for the gravity model of international trade as shown in the third Chapter in the UNCTAD & WTO’s A Practical Guide to Trade Policy Analysis. After building the database, the reader will run fixed effects and random effects regressions and export the results as a LATE Xtable ready for publication in academic journals.
