Chapter 13 in Neo Strategic Management, 2023, pp 137-144 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Emerging technologies, whether artificial intelligence or data sciences related, will have an impact on behavior, whether at individual or organizational levels. It will, at the individual level, impact upon individual culture, individual strategic attitudes, individual communication patterns, individual perceptions, and individual approaches to control. It will, at organizational level, have an impact on the structure, the culture, and the environmental dynamics. All in all it is more likely than not that emerging technologies will deliver a different individual and organizational behavioral pattern from what we have experienced over the past decades. Top management competencies will belong to these dynamics. This chapter will deal with the different dimensions of technology-influenced behavior and impact on managerial competencies.
