Chapter Chapter 2 in Innovative Water Finance in Africa, 2023, pp 25-54 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Water resources development in Africa shall be treated as an urgent agenda due to its growing scarcity, sectoral rivalry and social exclusion for access in the course of climate change. This chapter introduces financial instruments and operations into water management and development. It surveys the major finance packages available to an organization or a business based on the length of time over which the finance is required (in relation to short, medium and long term).
