Abstract Let's begin with what the research tells us about women and investing. Dozens of studies have been conducted over the last two decades examining women’s attitudes toward their finances and the topic of investing. Two consistent themes emerge when it comes to individual investors. First: all the studies conclude that women’s portfolios outperform their male counterparts over every time period measured.
