Abstract: Abstract This chapter presents the decarbonization strategies being adopted by leading cargo owners and their partners to influence the actions and services provided by the maritime sector. Its authors include a number of practical case studies demonstrating actions that shipping companies can take to drive decarbonization based on interviews with key personnel in prominent cargo owner companies, whose aim is to accelerate decarbonization and offer more sustainable freight logistics solutions.
