A chapter in Maritime Decarbonization, 2023, pp 433-449 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter discusses Green Corridors, their initial proposal from COP26, potential impact and associated issues. The authors discuss a generic framework for bringing green corridors from idea to execution, particularly the first two phases of the framework: pre-feasibility and feasibility. The framework allows for a fast and transparent maturation, as demonstrated on more advanced Green Corridors in Chile, East Australia-New Zealand, Gothenburg, and between Rotterdam and Singapore, some of which are presented as case studies.
