Abstract:
Abstract This chapter explores the importance of aligning your strengths, weaknesses, and future goals with business school profiles when selecting your ideal MBA program. It delves into the historical context of business schools, highlighting pioneering European, US and international institutions. Given that there are over 16,000 institutions that offer business degrees worldwide, understanding the various characteristics of business schools becomes crucial. Eight key attributes are outlined, including program size, internationalization, organizational setting, focus areas, and program formats. As a prospective MBA applicant, you should consider these factors to ensure an optimal fit for your needs and aspirations.
