Chapter Chapter 31 in Religious Doctrines and their Influence on Entrepreneurship, 2023, pp 233-240 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In 2005, Taoism had about 2.56 million adherents, 90% of whom live in Taiwan. There are only 12,000 adherents in the United States. Taoism (also spelled Daoism) is a religion and philosophy from ancient China. It holds that humans and animals should live in balance with Tao, or the universe. Taoists believe in spiritual immortality where the spirit joins the universe after death.
