Abstract: Abstract The research described earlier in this book suggests that the core, or starting point, in socio-economic development is enabling and co-inspiring an individual’s mind, heart and will. This is the very essence of the microsystem. This implies that fundamental to developing entrepreneurial momentum is the ability to first inspire individuals before seeking to teach them skills. When individuals are inspired, it is more likely that they will think innovatively about business potential rather than merely react to experiences and actions around them. Continuing co-inspiration will help sustain entrepreneurial actionEntrepreneurial action (EA) and build entrepreneurial momentum on each systemic level, countering the fears and anxieties that a young person might have about being an entrepreneur or being entrepreneurial in South Africa. This co-inspiration will come from the co-caring support System(s)system of business friends, business friendships and intermediaries drawn from mesosystemic organisations. Chapter 7 will review the three enemies (Barriersbarriers) that obstruct effective youth entrepreneurshipEntrepreneurship and detail the internal states or voices—Voice of judgementVoice of Judgement, Voice of Cynicism and Voice of fearVoice of Fear—required of youths to overcome in order to initiate and sustain successful youth entrepreneurshipEntrepreneurship and deal with new situations and changes.
