Chapter 14 in Public Net Worth, 2024, pp 191-206 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Capturing the value of public commercial assets depends crucially on ensuring that they function within a competitive marketplace and are financed on commercial terms and on developing effective institutions to manage them. This chapter provides various case studies of successful and less successful models for managing public commercial assets and sets out principles to guide the creation of future public wealth management vehicles.
