Abstract: Abstract I studied maths. Like many other maths grads, I started my career in finance. “Only for a year or two,” I told myself, “to pay off my student loan.” I joined JPMorgan’sJPMorgan graduate scheme in the summer of 2004. In 2006, my role moved to New YorkNew York. A year later, it was the start of the global financial crisis.
