Abstract: Abstract This chapter explores the evidence on vaping and smoking cessation. The evidence on the efficacy of other cessation interventions (behavioral therapies, pharmacotherapies, and NRTs) is evaluated, and the role for e-cigarettes is discussed, drawing on evidence from randomized controlled trials, longitudinal, observational, and cross-sectional studies, and trends analysis of market and prevalence data.
