A chapter in Agenda 2030 and its Sustainable Development Goals, 2025, pp 109-121 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Sustainability has not always been one of the guiding factors for companies, organisations and nations when making their plans and conducting their operations; it is even safe to say that sustainability has always been far from the top priority. However, as the world progresses, nations, organisations and companies evolve and gain access to new technologies that enable far greater scales of operations. Given their subsequent increases in energy demand, in addition to a larger global population, it is important to lead technology, business operations and consumer demand towards a future in which sustainability is fostered.
