Abstract: Abstract Examples of Part II (Chaps. 4 , 5 , 6 , 7 , 8 and 9 ) demonstrate that narratives of revelations of data are frequently ambiguous and hyperbolic. The principal cause of such narratives is statistical significance. The statistics that are declared statistically significant are not explicitly identified, and revelations of data are not plainly described; 95% confidence intervals are used as assessments of reproducibility of revelations of data. It is astute to limit revelations of data deemed inadequately reproducible to the subjects of the studies. Only revelations of data that are deemed adequately reproducible are used to make inferences.
