Abstract:
Abstract Revelations of data are routinely described synoptically by values of descriptive statistics that are measures of properties of data distributions. To read such descriptions intelligently, it is essential to be able to appreciate the indications of the statistics. To report informatively, it is vital to stress the manifestations of the distributions of the observations.
