Abstract: Abstract This research study reviews the state-of-the-art relationship between blockchain technology and fashion’s sustainable development. It aims to improve the scientific knowledge in business studies and explores further comprehension of concepts such as digital technologies, fashion, and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. A Systematic Literature Review through a Prisma Protocol is conducted to identify the main research areas and authors, and an analysis of the results is applied to acknowledge the findings’ contribution to academics and professionals. As an outcome, the research study identified four main topics relevant to blockchain technology’s relation with fashion sustainable development: Supply-chain; Consumption and production practices; Regulatory policy and governance; d) Sourcing and operations. It also acknowledges that the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 9, 12, and 17 are the main framework for the outcomes of the research study. This Systematic Literature Review contains an extensively researched database about the subject, and its results and findings are valuable for developing further studies in sustainable fashion development with blockchain technology in the scientific and professional sectors.
