Chapter Chapter 9 in Artificial Intelligence Valuation, 2024, pp 569-612 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Artificial Intelligence shows many sustainability issues that range from ESG considerations to ethical concerns. Addressing these sustainability issues requires collaboration among governments, businesses, researchers, and civil society. It involves developing and adhering to ethical guidelines, improving transparency, investing in AI that benefits society, and considering the long-term impact of AI on people, the planet, and governance structures. It is essential to strike a balance between technological advancement and responsible, sustainable AI development.
