Chapter Chapter 6 in The Next Frontier in SME Ratings, 2024, pp 89-98 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The public sector SME credit rating model is an often-unknown concept in most jurisdictions but is utilized by European central banks. This chapter provides examples of how these organisations can be operationally set up and effectively deliver these services. We focus on the benefits of the public sector model, which then provides context to its relevance and the rationale for its potential adoption by other countries.
