Conclusions: A Country Learning Journey
Nagy K. Hanna ()
Chapter Chapter 10 in Driving Digital Transformation in Developing Nations, 2024, pp 129-152 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract How should digital development strategies be pursued at the economy, government, and city levels? This chapter offers suggestions for country policymakers and aid professionals on ways to accelerate digital transformation. Lessons of experience are organized into five fundamental challenges: enabling holistic and sustained transformational change; empowerment and ownership; leadership, institutions, and human resources; experimenting, learning and evaluating; and inclusion and diffusion. They apply equally to practitioners, countries, and aid agencies.
