Abstract:
Abstract Polynomial regression is a type of regression analysis in which the relationship between the independent variable (X) and the dependent variable (Y) is modeled as an nth-degree polynomial. In accounting and finance research, polynomial regression can be used to capture more complex relationships between variables, which may not be adequately represented by a linear model.
