Chapter Chapter 3 in Supply Chain Finance, 2024, pp 45-75 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter elucidates the pivotal role of financial analysis in evaluating and optimizing supply chain performance. Delving into the fundamental elements of financial statements, readers gain insight into how profit and asset ratios are derived and applied in supply chain contexts. The DuPont Analysis is spotlighted, offering a methodical approach to unpacking ROIC components. The discourse culminates in introducing chain aggregated indexes, a tool for gauging collective financial performance and ensuring equity across firms engaged in supply chain transactions.
