Abstract: Abstract Companies will experience a demand for new types of data to meet legislation on the new economics and support the great transition to a Green and Circular Economy. A transition of society and businesses calls for transparency and traceability in all the processes and impacts along the long value chain. This chapter introduces the EU data requirements that have reached global attention. The chapter gives a picture of the future data landscape to built an ecosystem of traceable data to create the transparency essential for driving the changes. Data forster and drive change rather than just imposing new annual reporting. this chapter gives a few examples of how industries are developing and using data standards, and discusses consumer demands and labelling.
