Abstract: Abstract This chapter returns to a more in-depth discussion of Bitcoin in light of its mechanisms and the EBC Pyramid. There is significant debate on what gives Bitcoin its value, and the main arguments are examined in this chapter. This discussion necessarily involves some discussion of the monetary system.
