Abstract:
Abstract This chapter summarises the understanding of how this marginalised group’s experience has been dealt with in the leadership literature and practice and highlights the implications for policy, theory, and practice. Analysing dominant genres and themes through Critical Race Theory has illuminated Global Majority leaders’ specific challenges, experiences, and practices within the postcolonial constraint of Eurocentric Societies and Organisational Milieus. By giving space to Global Majority leaders wishing to explore, disrupt, reconsider, and vocalise leadership and identity formation, this chapter celebrates the emancipatory leadership practices uncovered despite its ‘…location of pain and struggle’ (hooks in Yearning: Race, gender and cultural politics. Turnaround; South End Press:2–3, 1991).
