Abstract: Abstract There is nothing special about either 1.5C1.5C or 2C global warmingglobal warming targets except that, the effects of the climate change are exponentially amplified and the risk of runaway effects such as melting of the glaciers (causing further warming of dark surfaces) and melting of the permafrost (causing additional methane emissionsmethane emissions) increases substantially.
