Chapter Chapter 6 in International Oil Markets in the Age of Climate Change, 2024, pp 79-101 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The energy industry contributes to over three-quarters of global greenhouse gasgreenhouse gas (GHG) (GHG) emissions. Therefore, the obvious way to reduce emissions and meet the Paris goals is to put emphasis on cleaning up the energy sector. We already have available technologies to clean up the power sector—solar and wind are well established and clean ways to do so.
