Abstract:
Abstract People are facing climate change as it is directly affecting all the aspects of global social economy, politics, and environment. In recent years, extreme weather has occurred everywhere, and the earth has become warmer due to air pollution, leading to more severe droughts/floods in some places and less severe droughts/floods in other places. Vietnam has recorded adverse trends and extreme climate events that occur with stronger intensity as well as higher frequency. This chapter helps people understand climate change and its impacts and elaborates on the process of climate change impact assessment method. Furthermore, this chapter also presents the mainstreaming of climate change response content into strategy and planning in Vietnam. This will be useful for people responding to the climate change event.
