Abstract:
Abstract The resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress of Nghe An province set a goal for Nghe An to become a relatively developed province in the Northern region by 2025 and a relatively developed province of Vietnam by 2030. To achieve the setting goal, Nghe An province has implemented various plans, in which identifying the role of human resources is extremely important, especially the key leadership personnel of the province. As such, these are the resources that play a leading role in various fields and localities in the province, fulfilling the assigned tasks and making breakthroughs in economic development and social management. To develop this leadership team, it is necessary to assess the current situation and develop both long-term and short-term strategies and plans to create a team of officials that meets the requirements of the province. The study used qualitative research methods and examined the selection of strategic leadership personnel in Nghe An province, based on secondary data analysis to evaluate the existing points of the cadre work. The study proposed solutions to overcome these existing shortcomings.
