Chapter Chapter 8 in SMEs Perspective in Africa, 2024, pp 167-192 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The nexus between business and other environments, such as the economic, political, social, and technological contexts, can significantly impact the performance of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Africa. This interaction is multifaceted, and various factors can influence SME performance. As such, issues such as political instability, economic crises, and currency devaluations can negatively impact SMEs’ business operations and planning (Senbet & Otchere, 2008).
