Chapter 22 in The Palgrave Handbook of Sustainability in Fashion, 2024, pp 293-308 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter aims to describe the strategies and implementation of retail companies dedicated to the marketing of fashion brands in Peru to achieve sustainable business logistics with technology and, thus, have a better reach to the consumer. In addition, the different levels of communication and content analysis of these companies on the sustainable topic were analyzed through extensive fieldwork and documentation. Finally, the chapter reflects on the problems, challenges, and future directions of the Peruvian fashion industry in the era of artificial intelligence, where integration with the sustainable world is far from being far away and both complement each other synergistically.
