Chapter Chapter 3 in Financing the Race to Space, 2024, pp 43-58 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Before discussing the challenges imposed by our financial value frameworkFinancial value framework, mathematics, and monetary architectureMonetary architecture, I believe it is critical to step back and address a very popular terminological conflation. Very often, the word space is used to refer to outer space and/or the terms are used interchangeably. In truth, this is why the title of the book refers to ‘the race to space,’ and the previous chapter started by introducing the ‘space economy.’
