Abstract:
Abstract This chapter is about the extensive potential of AI powering economic development, decentralized autonomy, and innovation across industries in MENA. By investing in technology and adopting the latest policies, AI is being adopted by countries like Saudi Arabia as well as UAE which has enabled them to become global hubs for technological innovation. The chapter further discusses ethical issues concerning data privacy and algorithmic bias, stating that responsible governance enforcement, as well as stakeholder collaboration, are both crucial. With AI, MENA gears up to lead in the future with an open horizon for growth and innovation.
