Chapter Chapter 7 in The Digital Paradigm Shift for a New Business DNA, 2025, pp 121-144 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract This chapter integrates findings from previous chapters, combining insights from a literature review and empirical studies with qualitative analysis. It explores the theoretical, managerial, marketing, and policymaking implications of emerging new digital technologies, emphasizing their role in redefining value propositions within firms aimed to enhance individuals’ and societal wellbeing. Indeed, bearing in mind the objectives of the book outlined in the introductory chapter, as well as the need for a new approach to managing the Digital Paradigm Shift, one driven by a new business DNA increasingly oriented not only towards the satisfaction of needs but also towards the enhancement of individual wellbeing (as consumers, citizens, patients, tourists, etc.), and the welfare of the community and society at large, we offer insights for future strategies in management, marketing, and policymaking.
