Abstract:
Abstract Athanase Papadopoulos was interviewed for this chapter. Beginning with his multicultural upbringing and engineering experience, he went on to become a well-known figure in mathematics. In addition to his academic accomplishments, we talk about his collaborative work style and his keen interest in mathematical history, particularly as it relates to Greek passages found in Arabic manuscripts. He talks about his passion for music, how travel has influenced his outlook, and his opinions on contemporary problems affecting the mathematical community.
